People are starting to receive the N900 one week after the official press release by Nokia USA.
Amazon USA changed its price to $499.99 and Dell re-posted the N900 also at $549.99 (6+ weeks shipping). Newegg is no longer accepting pre-orders and Nokia France is strangely back to pre-order status. Nokia USA lists the N900 as available at $519 after post purchase rebate (sale ended 30-Nov-09 but still seems to be going on).
The rebate applies to the Nokia N97, Nokia N900, Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, or Nokia 5530 XpressMusic (Games Edition) device between November 16, 2009 and December 31, 2009 (see attached document).

I noticed MobileCityOnline.com has changed their "Expected arrival date" to 4-6 weeks! Amazon.com still lists it as a "pre-order" item with no shipping date. Expansys.ca is still in "pre-order" with no ship date. NewEgg's N900 page doesn't have even a "pre-order" or "add to cart" button! It seems ONLY the Nokia USA web site has any stock of this product, which has just been marked down to $569 (from the original $649). But they won't ship to Canada.
So when is Nokia really going to ship to their retailers?
Cheers!
Brad

I just checked my pre-order at MobileCityOnline.com today and that web site is now saying the expected ARRIVAL date of the N900 is Nov. 25. Up to yesterday and for several weeks, the web site was listing Nov. 24. So, my question is this...did any of those N900's that supposedly shipped from Finland on Nov. 10 actually every arrive in the USA?
Also, does anyone know of a Canadian-based supplier that has a reasonable price on the N900? Many US-based suppliers, such as NewEgg.com and Amazon.com will not ship the N900 to Canada.
Cheers!
Brad
Buy.com - The price adjusted to 559.99 does not include free shipping.
I'm having some trouble finding an outlet that will sell the N900 to me in Canada. Amazon.com won't. Buy.com wouldn't. There is eXpansys.ca of course, but their advertised price recently jumped way out of line with the everyone else. Finally, I found MobileCityOnline and placed an order.
I would certainly like to get in on that $50 rebate from Nokia, but it's only good for US residents. Oh, well. I'll be very happy just to get the darn phone!
Cheers!
Brad
I briefly searched for the N900 in Canada and did not come up with anything. If anyone has any information, please send it to me and I'll post it on the site. Thanks, MT
